ABOUT GEORGANNE
After becoming a mother for the first time in December of 2019, Georganne found herself alone with a newborn during a pandemic, and struggling with what was later diagnosed as postpartum depression and anxiety.
When she reached out for “help” there wasn’t much available. After being failed by the healthcare industry, she leaned on fellow mama friends for support. She dove into her own research and network, determined to find answers about her experience with PPD/PPA while navigating the most wild hood of them all: motherhood. She desperately wanted that “village” everyone referenced when raising children, but was never able to find it. After visiting a few indoor play places, she found them lacking; a cold hard chair in the corner for parents and aloof employees left much to be desired. With a fire in her heart, she bundled up the lessons learned through her own experience and decided to create for others what she didn’t have for herself: an incredibly warm, welcoming, safe and modern indoor play place where kids can play and mamas have access to resources they want, need, and DESERVE.

Georganne is a graduate from Rutgers University and found success in her marketing career before creating Mamas Play. She is happily married with one son and enjoys living a supremely silly and spiritual life surrounded by friends and family. Her life’s purpose has been revealed as she focuses on helping other mamas be the best versions of themselves, and loves sharing her motto, “the best thing I can do for you is to take care of me.”
