How I Built mamas play
The Mama Founder Blueprint
A behind-the-scenes guide for women who want to build
real community businesses for mothers and families.
Almost every day someone asks me the same question:
“How did you build mamas play?”
Women message me. They email me. They stop me inside the space.
Instead of answering the same questions one by one, I finally wrote everything down.
The Mama Founder Blueprint shares the real story, the real lessons, and the real mindset behind building a community business from the ground up.
Why I Wrote This

Over the past year I’ve received hundreds of messages asking how I built mamas play.
Women want to know:
How did you start?
How does the business actually work?
What would it take to build something like this?
The truth is, answering those questions takes hours.
Because building a business like mamas play isn’t just one decision.
It’s a thousand decisions.
Risk.
Money.
Leadership.
Vision.
Community.
So instead of answering the same questions over and over again,
I created this guide.
The Mama Founder Blueprint is the exact framework
I wish I had when I started.
Why I Wrote This
My name is Georganne Youngclaus.
I am the founder of mamas play, a modern indoor play café and community hub for mothers and young children located in Morris County, New Jersey.
The space combines thoughtful design, strong community programming, and multiple revenue streams including memberships, parties, events, retail, and a coffee bar.
But mamas play is more than a business.
It was built from a deeply personal story.
During my pregnancy with my son Leo, I lost my father to suicide. That experience, followed by postpartum isolation during the pandemic, shaped my understanding of how much mothers need real support and connection.
mamas play was built to change that.
Since opening, I’ve received hundreds of messages from women asking how I built the space and how they could build something meaningful in their own communities.
The Mama Founder Blueprint is my answer to those questions.
